Written by students for students
Every year, the Graduate Student Association of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine provides travel award funding for students to travel to scientific meetings and/or field work. The principal aim of these GSA travel awards is to enable students to participate in events otherwise inaccessible due to shortfalls in laboratory or departmental funding. Successful applicants of the GSA travel award are required to submit to the The Restriction Digest , a short piece documenting their experiences.
It is The Restriction Digest's hope that through these travel award article submissions, other students will also be more informed about the available conferences around them and that they will be able to make more informed decisions when deciding to attend any particular conferences.
