The CentriFugues are a co-ed a cappella group made up of graduate students from the Schools of Medicine, Public Health, and Engineering. Formed three years ago, the group has acquired about twenty members who have performed a variety of popular rock, alternative, and pop songs as well as original research-themed songs, adding levity to the lives of fellow Hopkins graduate students. The group has performed at a variety of events including new student orientations, happy hours, the BME Variety Show, and the SPH Talent Show. The CentriFugues have also caroled at winter holiday parties in multiple departments around the medical campus and their hard work has culminated in successful spring and winter concerts. The group rehearses every Tuesday at 6:30pm in the Student Lounge in WBSB.
