Monthly Happy Hours: to build a network of women peers
Monthly Newsletter: report findings/research on women in science, this month’s events, and highlights one female graduate student and her accomplishments per month
Professional Development: working with toastmasters on sponsoring public speaking event, planning leadership series in collaboration with AMWA
Cross-Disciplinary Event: working with AMWA and AWSM to host an event for female medical students, MD/PhD students, and graduate students to get to know each other, form inter-disciplinary bonds, and learn about how the other programs work; will work with BSA to focus on female-minority focused events
Fall kick-off event/Beach Volleyball tournament: Co-hosted with BSA, an open tournament to get to know fellow women (will be open to all graduate students) and recruit GWEN members
